Students Ministry

Our heart beats for students, and we are passionate about making a lasting Godly impact in their lives at all academic levels.

Some of the exciting students’ activities that we normally organize include: the Primary and Secondary Schools’ Conferences, which respectively target pupils and high school students, and Campus Move, which is mainly organized for university students and those in other higher learning institutions.

Through these activities we’re able to minster to thousands of young people through Bible-based teachings and inspirations concerning things like decision-making, career guidance, relationships, and life in general, in an attempt to contribute to a more disciplined, God-fearing, and responsible human resource which will serve the church, the country, and the world at large in the near future. Oftentimes, the Students Ministry works closely together with the Youths Ministry to carry out occasional school outreach programs wherein we reach out to different schools and institutions and minister to the students from there.

Youth Ministry

Our Youth Ministry provides a series of programs and activities to give teenagers and young adults an opportunity to participate in church life, develop their own faith and spirituality, develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, discover and grow their purpose, as well as acquire new friendships. Our youth ministry is made up of two segments, and that is the Teenz Code (these are essentially teenagers) and the Youth Code (20 – 35-year-olds). Every Saturday, The Teenz Code meets from 2 to 4:00 p.m., followed by The Youth Code from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  • Code YnT:

Code YnT is a monthly fellowship that brings together the Teenz Code and the Youth Code. It happens every last Saturday of the month from 4 – 6:30pm. Our sessions are often punctuated with a number of engaging activities such as Bible trivia, Icebreaker games, movie nights, dance sessions, DJ mixes, small group discussions, birthday celebrations, and so much more.

  • Camp Konnekt:

Every year in December, we host a residential youth camp for one week called Camp Konnekt. The program is intended for young people and enrolled students between the ages of 13 and 25. The camp’s objectives include enhancing the lives of young people through the application of biblical principles, motivational and career counselling speeches, activities that foster teamwork and talent discovery, and the development of life skills. In addition to being a camp, Camp Konnekt serves as a motivational hub where young people get to interact with notable figures in different fields, learn from them, and gain insights into how to make informed decisions in their daily life.

Men’s Ministry

Current research shows that men have a much greater impact on a family’s church attendance than do women or children. If a father attends church, most certainly the whole family will. This is why at The Worship House we strongly believe in the unique contribution of men to Kingdom building, and the Men’s Ministry exists to foster an active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His word, and other men for the purpose of developing a Kingdom-minded man who is a servant leader in the home, the church, and his community.

  • Men At Work

Men At Work is a phrase we use to denote that time of the year when men are given a chance to take full control of all church activities for an entire month, all the way from the parking lot to the pulpit. It’s an interesting time where different men, both young and old, get the opportunity not only to serve God but also interact with other men, thereby strengthening the male resurgence within the church.

  • Boys To Men Workshops

These workshops are organized several times throughout the year with a major aim of fostering father-son and big-brother-young-brother relationships between the older men (aged 35+) and younger men (aged 15 – 35) of our church. Through these workshops we are able to help young men transition into adulthood by providing mentors and valuable lessons in order to help them (the young men) navigate the many pressures they face as they approach manhood.

Some of the issues addressed during the Boys To Men workshops include: Realizing my potential, Leading in the community, Handling Finances, Building Respectful Relationships, Sexual Purity, among others.

Children’s Ministry

At The Worship House, we believe children are God’s gift to us. Some come in boxes, tied up with bows, others covered with glowing paper, and some in gift bags and tissue paper fluff. How ever they come, there is one thing we know: children are God’s gift to us.

It’s therefore our responsibility as The Worship House Children’s Ministry to ensure that these gifts (children) get to understand God through His word, believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior, grow in their spiritual walk and be able to serve and share him with others.
